    Terms and Conditions

  1. Important notice: Please read carefully before buying a coaching/mentoring programme.By purchasing Mms services, you agree to these terms which will bind you and (if you are an employer) your employees. 

  2. Payment for tasters/courses/coaching session are to be made online and in full (unless agreed otherwise in advance) and via the website booking form -accessed online. The booking form also includes an up to date privacy policy /data protection form which must also be signed by the parent/carer as part of the booking process (as per GDPR data protection rules 2018). Please note Mms can withold a coaching place until this form as been signed.

  3. Cancellation:Mms has the right to cancel a taster/course/coaching session at any given time and will provide a full refund within 14 days of doing so. Mms requires a minimum of 24 hrs notice prior to cancelling any course/class/workshop to avoid being charged in full. Registrants who do not attend a session will be considered ‘no shows’ and will be charged in full.

  4. Please note Mms is a coaching & mentoring  service not a counselling service/therapy. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely for a diagnosis.

  5. Parents/Carers are responsible for their children's actions/conduct whilst attending Mms and are liable to charges in the event of property damage or misconduct either to Mms or another pupil of the school.

  6. Mms will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, arising under or in connection with the work undertaken whilst participating in mindfulmeschool services.

  7. Mindfulmeschool reserves the right to record zoom sessions and will store securely without sharing to a third party for a maximum of 3 mths unless using for ICF accreditation purposes (to be agreed with the client).

  8. We assume no responsibility for the content of websites linked on our site. Such links should not be interpreted as endorsement by us of those linked websites. We will not be liable for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

  9. No part of this website may be reproduced or utilised in any form without Mms prior permission.

  10. Mms will download to the parent after a 1:1 coaching session all relevant data in order to plan ahead for further sessions. Please not this is a call for planning purposes ONLY although parents may request a mentoring session as a separate service. Please see safeguarding below for when a child reveals details the coach may consider dangerous to either the child or a 3rd party.

How we comply with the Data Protection Act of 1998 & 2018

 

  1. Mindfulmeschool is committed to protecting your privacy. 

  2. When you make a direct enquiry, book onto a taster/course/coaching session at Mindfulmeshool we request information about you and your child/Family.

  3. Mindfulmeschool will keep a written/elecrtonic copy of your personal details including your email and information regarding your Family. ALL information will be stored securely. This information will only be used to:​

 a) create content for sessions bought 

 b) inform you of relevant Mindfulmeschool courses and workshops relating to your enquiry

 This information will not be shared to a third party. 

 5. Please let us know if the personal information which we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated at  any time.​

 6. You can change your mind at any time by emailing info@mindfulmeschool.co.uk

 7. The website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of  third party websites.

 8. All data will be kept for a maximum of 5 years as per GDPR guidance. 

Safeguarding

 Mindfulmeschool takes the safeguarding of children very seriously and is committed to providing an environment  that is safe.

 If a child discloses any information to the Mms founder during a class the following procedure will be followed:

  1. Mms will listen without asking leading questions or pressing for further details and will explain to the child  that it may be necessary to share this information with an adult who can help

  2. Mms will remain calm and offer help and reassurance and accept what the child says without challenge

  3. Mms will not make promises or keep secrets with the child 

  4. Mms will reserve the right to contact the correct City Council Social Services Department

  5. Mms will keep an accurate written record or recording of the conversation

 As stated in the terms and conditions (above) feedback will be provided to the parent at the end of each session  where the parent (who booked the class) will receive a 15 min download phone call from Mms. Mms will respect the  wishes of the child where it is their desire to withhold information from the parent. Where a child's safety is  considered at risk, Mms uphold the right to defer directly to social services.
